The LCI Core Facility located at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London is committed to standardize performance, data collection and quality control of multiple breath washout (MBW) measurements for multicentre clinical trial use. The competence center was inititate already in 2014 by Prof. Jane Davis on behalf of the European Cystic Fibrosis Society Clincal Trial Netwok (ECFS-CTN). The LCI Core Facility has many years of experience in MBW testing and interpretation of results. They also offer MBW training courses on a regular basis and provide over-reading of MBW data to guarantee data consistency. To reach beyond the borders of Europe, the center is working closely with Prof. Felix Ratjen, Toronto, Canada.
